Searchable map of reports from Haiti

Haiti: The 2010 Earthquake in Haiti is an open source Ushahidi site that is aggregating news from the following sources:
  • SMS
  • Web
  • Email
  • Radio
  • Phone
  • Twitter
  • Facebook
  • Television
  • List-serves
  • Live streams
  • Situation Reports
This information is searchable, and can be filtered based on report type. Reports are linked to a map of Haiti reflecting incident location.

Volunteers at the Tufts University Fletcher School Situation Room are mapping about 50% of the reports 24 hours a day. The other 50% of reports come from the Ushahidi team and volunteers around the world. Each report is first read at least once by Situation Room before being published on the map. This Ushahidi deployment represents a joint initiative with members of the International Network of Crisis Mappers (CM*Net). All reports are available on the map and under the reports section.
